Hi, I'm Amy. Â
Â
My story...
When I first started writing, I was a lawyer with little time for hobbies or creative pursuits. I'd never written a poem or even a short story when the idea for a fully-formed book popped into my head while reading Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. I didn't know what to do with this idea, so I stubbornly ignored it until it went away. It didn't work. The sliver of inspiration I had been gifted was more persistent than anticipated, and after a year, it still niggled away at me. There was only one thing to do – I would have to learn how to write a book.
That's when I discovered there's a plethora of writing advice in the world, some conflicting, and it doesn't work for everyone. I soon realised I had to streamline the many methods to suit me and my approach to similar projects. I spent a year writing while working full-time and took many wrong turns through a somewhat naive writing process of trial and error. Eventually, I had a manuscript but no idea what to do with it.
I took a leap, self-published my books and was eventually offered a traditional publishing deal for all four of them. At the same time, I secured nonfiction ghostwriting work and have now ghostwritten two Sunday Times bestsellers. I also completed a coaching diploma so I could help clients write the books themselves. To date, I've written eleven books, all of which have been published. All of these opportunities came from that one idea for a book. Â

My purpose is to make writing a book accessible to anyone who has an idea for one. I believe that with the right advice and guidance, writing a book is possible for anyone who wants to do it.Â
After working with many clients, I realised there are different types of writers, and we each need advice that suits our personal styles and neurodiversity. Once we've found out what works for you, we can unlock the quickest steps to completing your book. I'm here with you for that journey – from the first tentative ideas to that beautiful moment of typing the last sentence and beyond. Â
Are you ready to begin?

Why I'll help you write a great book
- I'm not here to help my clients write 'a book'. I'm here to help my clients write a great book.
- While working with clients, I ensure they produce the very best writing and structure they can.Â
- I will support and encourage them and explain what's working in their writing and how to improve other areas.
- A book needs attention to detail, sense-checking, and persuasion power. I'm here to help with all those to create my clients' literary legacy.
- Together, we will level up their book so it is one they are proud of.
